How do i reinstall Windows if i dont have installation CDs

If you have a legal license of Windows XP, (You have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker on computer) you can download that SAME version of Windows XP from a torrent or borrow a copy from a friend. If the COA says Professional Edition, Home Edition, or Media Center Edition, download or borrow that specific CD so that you do not violate the Windows License agreement. After you download and burn, use the CD Key from your COA on your computer. Any other way is illegal.

If you bought it with pre-loaded windows you have to create your own recovery CD or DVD so you can reload windows in-case your computer crashes

Who supplied the computer?

If you inherited from someone they should have given you Windows CD or if supplied by a shop or online as new, contact them for install disks. Otherwise you need to buy disk on Ebay maybe.

You can't install Windows without no CD. You must need the recovery CD. You can get your cd from your manufacturer. Just call them and tell that you want to order the Recovery CD. They will ask you for your Model number of the computer, Serial number, and you have to pay by debit card (apply to HP).
