After blue screens on this laptop I ran chkdsk /r and when itrepeatedly reported it was fixing errors I replaced the drive andghosted it. I did a repair reinstall and a large number of files were"not able to be copied". I reformatted the drive and ran themanufacturers disk checking utility. The fresh install also reportedcopying errors and blue screened with both 04e pfn_list_corrupt and 0Airq_not_less_or_equal errors. I ran a memory check. I tried to updatethe bios, but this requires an installed operating system. I copied thei386 folder to the hard drive and installed from there, again "unableto copy file" errors.Does anyone have any idea what to do next. I am using a standardWindows disk to reinstall and the licence key is accepted (when it getsthat far). Thanks.
