Hi, after almost killing my laptop i`ve managed to reinstall most of XP, however i seem to be missing the Modem driver, so no Internet and no Audio Driver.

Its a toshiba L30 satellite. Running XP home edition. I don't have my own installation discs so was hoping someone knew of a site and method for downloading it on my desktop and saving it to disk. any advice would be so welcome pls.

  1. Just Google Toshiba Drivers and the first link brings you to the website where you enter you model and it will pop up all the drivers for that system including your modem and audio drivers.

  2. You need to go to the Toshiba website look for your Model. You need look up Drivers and get all the Drivers Video USB and Wireless Lan.

You need to know who made the Modem and go that website for the driver. Download and save to a CD. I would say a USB drive but I bet you don't have the USB drivers yet.

  3. I know your problem!!! I have an L35, so we share drivers. If you want I can send you them, because as of now Toshiba doesn't support XP on these laptops, even though it was on there when we got them.

    Send me an email: ilikemath2002[at]gmail[dot]com

  4. why not try the manufactures website out most big name brands computer makers have support pages with driver downloads and here is Toshiba's

    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/c...

  5. I think ur lappy should have one CD of drivers if not then u have to connect ur PC throgh net.

u r not having modem drivers so u can use any USB modems like any data card etc .

after going on not there are many tools are available that can detect ur hardware configuration . they will show u which driver is required .
