Reinstalling SIMS 2 living large?

when i put the disk in.. all it says is; Autoplay couldn't fine the original The Sims on your system. Please reinstall it. and than you click okay and the box goes away... but it doesn't give me an option to install it.. what do i do?!

thats cuz 1st u have to uninstall the game by going to "my computer" and finding the file. once u do, look for the uninstall option. after that is complete, the next time u put the disk in, it should give u an installation option.
