Rejection of EPEC Singapore?

Question

Though my friend is holder of valid HSMP UK visa, the Singapore MOM has rejected her EPEC application. However, its clearly stated on the MOM website: "Ministry of Manpower will accept skilled migrant visas from talent destinations, such as the US' H1-B, O-1, EB-1a and EB-1b, UK's Highly Skilled Migrant Progamme (HSMP), Hong Kong's Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS), Australia's Temporary Business Entry (Long Stay) Visa-subclass 457. "

What can I do further in this case? Can I appeal further? Whom to contact for that? Please advise.

i am an m.b.a graduate specialising in tourism & hospitality even i have applied , for singaopore e.p.e.c , but it got rejected , i don't know why? the mom  is not disclosing the reasons for my rejection????/

Bottom Line, criteria that MOM has disclosed does not work, they are diplomatic when dealing with different applications.  It seems that that evaluation system has got a bug Lolz::::::::

my friend and I both applied. She was ahead of me by one week. We have the same qualifications (age, gender, school, year of graduation, and degree). We came from a recognized university. We even submitted the same documents. My friend was granted epec while I'm not. Too bad for me. I don't understand how the system works. ^_^

I have 12 years experience in IT in the banking sector and had worked in SG earlier. Currently a holder of British passport, and having a degree in science from the approved university list. I qualify for PEP as well, but tried applying EPEC. It got rejected. They will not disclose reasons and keep it confidential so no one knows what guideline criteria they use to test the application. You can email them and ask to allow changes if you submitted application is still in process. But if its rejected then you have to wait for 90days to reapply again. With the criteria unclear I dont see the reason to apply at all. When those with degree's from MOM's enlisted universities, and holders of skilled visas getting rejected, I dont know what the real criteria is.

I would like to know the reason why my epec application was rejected? Its my second application way back 2007 to 2008, my friend working there in singapore invited me to work in singapore and try applying the epec unhesitatingly, i apllied but was stop due to some hectic schedule in my job.  This time around i applied and unfortunately rejected when they ask me to submitt pertinent documents such as my passport particulars, Passport picture and certificate of my masters degree.. I was just want to know the reasons of such rejection please.

you can contact mom and ask them what is the reason for rejecting your EPEC.

If your qualification is not up to their requirement. You can do nothing except secure a job yourself before your social visit pass expired
