Related Star, the bright sparkle in the lineup of the Bags/Sis Easter Bunny Sprint Heat 2 at Kinsley
The second heat of the Bags/Sis Easter Bunny Sprint is to be held at Kinsley over 268 metres flat on Tuesday, 6th March. The race that has the prize money worth £200 is to be participated in by six hounds.
The lineup comprises of Mays Pixie, Related Star, Royal Pick, Drumcrow Olly, Honest Buck and Dysert Morrigan.
Related Star possesses just the right credentials to make it on the other end of the wire before any of the other hounds today. He is Starboard Bow’s four-year-old black son out of b***h Related Duece and has ventured out during the new season six times
and out of those races, he has won four times, was second at an attempt and landed fourth in one of the outings.
He won a Grade D1 268 metres Flat on 7th January at Kinsley and was successful by covering the track distance in 16.28 seconds while in lead of three and a half lengths. Parking right behind the winner was Ballymac Milfred who raced through the
same distance in 16.56 seconds.
The 9/4 favourite of the race, Society Bolt, finished fifth.
Then on 20th January, Related Star was the victor of a Grade A1 462 metres Flat at Kinsley. The 6/4 favourite winner reached the other end of the wire in 27.99 seconds while at a neck’s margin form the runner up Kingsmill Might who raced over
the track in 28.01 seconds.
In order to complete the trio and strike a hat trick, Related Star won a Grade D1 268 metres Flat on 11th February at Kinsley by making it to the wire in 16.38 seconds with a 1 ½ lengths lead. Related Star, the evening’s favourite remained at
par with the expectations of the connections and the crowds.
The runner up of the race was Dysert Morrigan.
After coming fourth and then second in the next two races, Related Star won a 268 metres race at Kinsley on 28th February after taking 16.28 seconds to race over the distance.
Today Related Star is up for his seventh outing of the new season and there is hardly any doubt that he will miss on this one. His fifth victory of the season is almost inevitable.
