  1. Vacuum sealed only has to hold (anti)pressure against 14 or 15 psia.  Hermetically sealed object have to hold pressure against 1000 psi, sometimes (depending on the rating).

    A hermetic is rated for temperature.  A vac. seal isn't necessarily rated for temperature.
