Relationship so hard.. abused?

Question

my boyfriend where both 19 knows that i was abused.. when am with him kissing him..... i cant relax ... my mind bes else where .... am sure its got to be sumet to do with when i was sexually abused when i was 13/14..

i went to see him . he was kissing and touching me .. i just felt like crying my mind was on what had happened..... i do wana be with him.. but i cant face tellin him i dont think he can take anymore

I told my bf now husband about my abuse, he was pretty understanding about it.  I know this sounds heartless but it really isn't.  You need to find a way to get over it.  Was the abuse more then the normal parts of your life?  Things you need to know is it's not your fault, it's a part of life and it happened, that is something your bf should be able to accept and be respectful about it.  He should give you some support.  You can't make it last to long, he may get tired of it and it's not good for your mental health either.  I suggest going to some sort of counseling.

Get some help honey .....You need a professional councillor who has dealt with this stuff. You have been damaged by a sick person and it was not your fault ! You need closure on this . I believe you are a survivor and not a victim. Looks like you have a big brick wall built up & can't let anyone in in case you get hurt again. Remember that you were abused when you were vulnerable . Please don't let that abuser win ! Be a survivor ( not a victim ) You are a child of the universe love & you deserve to be loved & cherished & happy. Tell your doctor or someone you trust about this !  Don't feel ashamed IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT ! Please get the help you need to rise above this ! Be gentle with yourself ...........I send you love & wish you the best things in life ......

If he knows he should respect your situation.

Take things gently, but tell him that it is not his fault.
