Relationships! my girlfriend is

my girlfriend is pissed that she makes all the decisions in our relationships for things such as where to go eat or what movie to go see and last night she started arguing with me about it saying that she picks everything in the relationship and thinks i dont care, however id rather have her choose so i know shell be happy with the choice. my question is though should it make a difference who picks things or no?

it does to a point,she prolly feels like you could carless so just make an effort to do something special for her.

We women like our men to show they care by making some of the decisions even if they seem mundane.

I applaud you for wanting to make her happy by letting her choose.  

However, if you want to surprise her, make her happy,AND reap the benefits of that from her- make reservations at her favorite restaurant and tell her you've chosen the movie, too.

My mum acts like that with my dad. He's like you, just wants to see her happy.

It shouldn't make a difference in my opinion, but if you want to keep things going well, it would be smart to make the odd decision. Hey, she chooses where you go so surely you know what places she likes...

Honestly, I think it's better when the guy picks, or at least there is an even amount of choosing. Refusing to choose can be a sign of laziness. Soooo heads up haha.

Girls like guys in control a bit. Most, anyways.

How freaking hard is it to have a couple places in mind just to impress her with you effort at your relationship? Sure if she wants to decide great if not, have a few answers in your head, its next to nothing to do and if you can't put that little effort into your relationship, you don't value what she thinks of you. What a woman thinks of you is everything, Whether you and she last or not, why not make it the best it can be?

LOL!  Women!!  You cant live with them and you cant live without them.  I think its sweet you want her to choose, however make a couple with her once in a while and that will probably pacify her

I am a female, and even I agree that females can be more complicated with simple tasks. You have come up with a simple solution to ensure her happiness, let her choose everything..it is incredibly difficult to enter the ever-changing mind of a female...my own mind drives me crazy sometimes..so instead of giving the option for her to choose everything all the time...you could give suggestions..something as simple as a suggestion here and there may make it appear to her as though you care..which you probably do, but this lets her see it..because a lot of women are finicky about needing to see the proof that you care..i dont know why..but good luck with her...

Actually, if you never make decisions, your girlfriend may question your maturity. It takes no effort whatsoever to say "whatever you want to do". It is habitual, I know. I did that with my girlfriend and she got angry. Plan something and suprise her. Really, if she likes you, she won't care what you pick. Just being with you is happiness for her ( usually is in a relationship). Sounds like you are too worried about specifics. Your girlfriend cannot learn about your tastes and preferences when you make her do all the decison-making.

If she does not like a certain movie or restaurant, she will let you know when you pick something. In that context you are both sharing ideas. That is what relationships flounder on.
