Question:

Relatives coming to visit?

Okay, well my relatives from up north are coming to visit this week and I haven't seen them in over two years and I should be excited, but I'm worried because whenever anyone comes, they always talk about how different I am and try to make me tell them things and sometimes they say that they liked me better before and it hurts my feelings. And then they leave and I don't get to see them for more years and I never even get to enjoy the time they are here. So my question is, how do I stop caring so much what they think of me?

  1. think about who you want to be

not who they want you to be.

  2. Stop them from coming to visit lol

  3. It's hard to hear things like that from your relatives, but as long as your feel you are a good hearted person, you shouldn't let it get to you. If you are happy and accept yourself for who you are, then that's all that should matter.
