Can my in-laws drive my financed vehicle into Canada? I live in Alaska and they are driving my vehicle to me. If so what documentation will they need?

  1. Definitely a letter giving them your permission.  Also contact your insurance company and find out if other people are covered while in a foreign country.

  2. I have seen many people on here state that the registration was never asked for at the border. However, one person a couple of days ago recommended that you give the people driving your car a letter of permission.  That would probably be a good idea..and have it notarized...every bank has a notary and it is not expensive.  Then send them that letter to have with them..just in case.
