Pokemon Platinum is going to be released sometime in the Spring of the year 2009 in the United States, and in September, 2008 in Japan.

The official release day in America hasn't been confirmed, but in Japan it has, and it will be in September /13/ 2008. Games usually takes 1 to 4 months to get here, so my guess is that it will get here by January.
