Release or trade brett?

of release, the organization can get its credibility and respect back for just letting the guy play, but thats all they get.

of trade, they get something for it but lose league credibility and possibly fan credibility for being so stubborn and childish

They p**s me off this year either way. Even if Favre comes back we are going to blame all the losses on the fact that they now have poor team camaraderie. What kind of team unity will they have after they have already insulted him.

i think the organization has lost a lot of credibility already and they haven't done anything with him yet

i think they need to trade him and they need to trade him now...i don't think releasing him would be good for them because there's a market for him and they can get something in return, but they have to get rid of him somehow because of the firestorm it would cause if he started the year with the team, regardless of whether or not he is the starting quarterback and in particular if he starts the year on the bench

Since Brett retired he has no say so.  I would trade him to anybody for a #1 pick.  Nothing less than a #2 and a #3.   If not then stay retired.

What are you talking about, they would lose credibility for trading Favre? If they are insisting that their future is Rodgers and he's gonna start, then you might as well get something out of Favre, even if it's only a 4th round pick.

Release him. They should should give him some respect. If they don't want to play him, let him go where he wants to go. They Packers would then make themselves look alittle better.

most he's going to be traded to the minesota viking for like a 2 round pick and a 5 round pick that's all cause brett is soon to offically retire

Why would they lose credibility for trading him? Trading him is the best possible answer for these reasons:

1. You hold to your word that Rogers is your quarterback

2. You probably get a draft pick for it.

3. You get to choose where he goes.
