Reliable Camcorder from $200-300?

I'm looking for a camcorder that is between the $200-300 price range. It should be from a renowned company, like Sony or JVC. Thanks for results

If you just want to try it out, search Craig's List, and pick-up something to play with for awhile.  Then later, get something more expensive.

jvc GRD770 =$202.39 on sale

Sony DCR-HC52 =$249.99

  u might want to look at the jvc GR-DA30= $199.99

out of reviews they say the gr-da30 has good video
