Reliable Man all set to dominate the track in the 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales's Stakes
Alain de Royer-Dupre trained, Reliable Man, will be competing in the Group 1 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot on 20th June, 2012, where he will be taking over a distance of 1
mile and 2 furlongs.
The trainer is hoping that he tones up in this race, and delivers a winning performance. Alain de Royer-Dupre has been aiming to run Reliable Man for a long time now, and thinks it is the best time for his runner to get stretched in distance.
To the press, the trainer stated:
"It's a very strong race, but I think he's just coming right after two races."
He further added: "Right from the beginning, this race has always been the target for him this season.
"The ground was very firm, there was no pace and it was impossible to come from so far back in the d'Ispahan last time out.
"We have to just forget the race, it should suit him better at Ascot."
The grey colt ran an incredible race on 29th April, 2012, when he competed in the Group 1 Prix Ganay at Longchamp.

He claimed a placed finish and stood third, 2 lengths behind the runner-up, Giofra, over a distance of 1 mile and 2 ½ furlongs.
The four-year-old lost his fervour in his most recent performance, and finished seventh in the Group 1 Prix D'Ispahan at Longchamp on 27th May, 2012.

The connections think that the runner can recover from this race and run well at the Royal Ascot.
The son of Dalakhani, out of mare On Fair Stage, delivered phenomenal performances last season, where he triumphed in four out of five starts.
The Pride Racing Club owned runner has the capability of landing a victory in the Group 1 category, since he has proved himself before when he notched the victory in the Group 1 Prix Du Jockey Club at Chantilly on 5th June,
2011.
Under the command of rider, Gerald Mosse, the colt excelled on the 1 mile 2 ½ furlong track and finished first by a small margin of ¾ of a length, ahead of the G. Botti trained, Bubble Chic.
