  1. Keep your feet up as much as you can.  When you're in bed, put a pillow under your legs.  Elevating your legs higher than your heart promotes the fluid to travel back to your body for re-circulation.  Drink MORE water.  While you may experience more swelling in the short term (like a day or so) eventually you'll start peeing more and you'll get rid of more fluid out of your body in the long run and alleviating the swelling.  Also most pregnant women have their feet grow .5 to 1.5 shoe sizes larger in pregnancy, which could explain your sandals.  Sometimes the increase in size is permanant.  I went from an 8.5 to a 9.5 with my daughetr and I never went back to an 8.5 again.  I'm now a 9.  Bleh.

  2. Put your feet up on a pillow, elevate them. also I found a foot bath of epsom salt really helped me. Also green tea helped me with alot of my pregnancy problems. good luck and hope  it get s better.

  3. Stop using salt, sounds like your retaining water,

  4. Watch all of your sodium intake and put your feet up when you can. I drank lots of water while I was pregnant with all three of mine. This really helped,.

  5. have daddy give ua foot massage nightly :D

  6. lie down as much as you can, especially at night with your feet elevated, it worked for me!!

  7. Do you have a recliner?  Get your feet up higher than your heart.

Don't sit for long periods of time (with your feet down), and try to keep your feet up a lot.

Make sure your doctor knows, this could be a sign of preeclampsia

  8. I put my feet up every and any chance i get... at home and work

  9. the only thing you can really do is to sit with your feet propped higher then your heart. This will keep circulation moving and reduce swelling.
