Relieving the pain of a long writen Essay?

Will it work if I take Panadol or another pain killer before a long essay to relive the painful cramps in my arm. This essay is extremely important to me and I am not planning on taking panadol for this purpose on a regular basis. If this will not work, what are some alternatives? Honestly the pain is quite immense.

If it's really bad you might want to take nurofen which will work better than panadol as it's an anti inflammatory. And although it's overused and it's the last thig you might want to hear the only way to truly stop the pain you get from writing is to sontinually practise over and over. You might also want to change your posture and the way you sit. And check your grip on your pen, use one of those soft gel pens that are really easy to write with.
