I'm totally confused. Why is there no real evidence of a god, any god?

Is religion just a scam to keep people in order?

The truth is - noone actually knows the truth. Religious people play on this by saying they have some knowledge of the truth and through it they can help, of course, this is in return for some kind of payment.

That, to me at least, constitutes fraud.

well im muslim and i belive in god because i belive in the qurans wise words and because nobody could have writen the quran.

someone like you needs proof, okay there is scintific statements said in the quran long before being discoverd for example: its said in the quran that the moon is cracked, a baby heart beat beats within 40 days of conception. but thats nothing compared to whats in the quran.
