A metaphore which reinforces our appreciation for this world, but blinds us to the reasoning behind it. It simplifies reality for our feeble minds, by creating "god", an imaginery being who comforts us through our emotional existance.

the bible teaches how the world should be and will be after the lords second coming. we should follow it even though its tough to we should
