Religion has always played a powerful influence on the evolving global popar popuation.  It was reconinzed early in our growth, by those who saw the benefits of providing a channel to the spirit world also aquired a special status in the group, and as early as history has been corrupted.  into self engratition .  Religion is the largest industry in the world.
