Their scientific training or they can smell an easy buck from a mile away? Since they have exactly the same credentuals as bible college failure Al Gore I assume that it’s their smarts guiding them here.

By the way, how many billions (or trillions) will we be paying the giant oil companies for signing on to make the winters less moderate. Oops, I mean how much taxpayer support and tax rebates should we give big oil for taking this unselfish hit. Never mind, their buyoff was settled a long time ago (in 1991) when 3 of the worlds 4 largest oil companies, wanted to sign on, and one, Exon-Mobil wanted to negotiate a better deal and appears to have succeeded.

The consensus has gone from Hollywood stars to televangelists. No wonder 4th graders are taught their parents are murdering them.

  1. Robertson and Sharpton???  Their signing on to the 'Man-did-it' global warming cause probably hurts the movement more than the latest revelations about AGW so-called 'science'.

  2. Possibly the same reason political shyster George W Bush is giving a  speech in the Rose Garden and meeting with the Pope about it.  I guess 8 years ago the scientific background of a former cheerleader and draft dodger was more than enough to derail all of the important science in America including AGW.  I suspect he doesn't want history to view him as an imbecile and that's true of Rev's Sharpton and Robertson also.  Now that Bush has reversed position and joined the ranks along with Michael Moore I'm thinking we may see a literal stampede as we count down to the end of his misbegotten Administration.

  3. How can you use "religous" and "Al Sharpton" in the same sentence?

  4. First place "Bob"  it is NOT a fact that Global Warming ever existed and Gory Gore and his cronies are out for a buck at the expense of the more intelligent ones.

  5. Because Algore's 300 million dollar propaganda scheme paid them to.

Hey, if you hear it on TV enough times it must be true, right?

  6. ... and

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con...

says all 3 candidates promise to cap carbon,

    just like Bush did.

  7. As many alarmist have stated so many times; "It's a no brainier." Ask yourself this question: "Why would any public figure want notoriety?" I did hear something about a month ago, as to government subsidies/sponsorship becoming more limited to the oil companies. I think escalating prices may have been the one big deterrent on that proposal. Unfortunately I never did a follow up, and this leaves me in the dark.

  8. They are all making money on this scam.  The oil companies are no different with their 'research' into alternative fuel sources, thereby charging us more than ever before.  It doesn't take rocket science to figure out that jumping on the scare bandwagon will result in more revenue.

Look at what the government did for the oil companies.  Made them change to that 'Summer' blend formula, just in time for the vacation traffic season, thus allowing them an excellent excuse to jack up the prices in order to cash in.  It is all a big scam.  As far as religion goes, why not jump onto the 'protect the planet that God gave us' bandwagon.  Sure, they thrive on fear and this is simply another day at the office for them.

  9. Obviously, that 4th grader has better information than you do. Get some facts!

  10. It's just to show how the fact of global warming is now acknowledged by most people, even ones who agree on little else.

    My personal favorite is this:

"I agree with you (Gore) that the debate over climate change is over."

    Rep. Dennis Hastert, Republican, Illinois

Hastert couldn't agree with Gore on where to go to lunch.

EDIT - I love the argument that Pat Robertson is making money on global warming.  Shows just how far off the deep end the deniers are.

  11. oh dear...

i'm so glad i live in a secular nation....

  12. Your rant is very hard to follow.  But, I don't see anything wrong with some so called Men of the cloth doing a commercial.  It is America after all.  Of course I haven't seen the commercial.  What was your point?
