  1. Why would you wanna relocate,, the crime here is totally out of control, and stabbings, killings etc are occurring here on a daily basis..

I suggest you pay a little extra and stay in a nice place,,

  2. Anywhere is cheap to live if you're going from the UK to the US, as you have double your money!!

Clemont in florida is beautiful, i have a house there as well as living in the UK.

It really is so peaceful, and everyone is so friendly! xx

  3. Avoid London, West Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex most of Essex, Oxfordshire and Berkshire if you want cheap.

Yorkshire is really nice as is Lancashire however if you want 'city life' just about everywhere is expensive compared to the US.

  4. Scotland but that is far from everywhere.

Humberside is quite cheap to live in but does have a lot of unemployment. It also has cheap housing.

North Wales is quite cheap too but does have nice countryside, scenery, mountains and seasides. They also have cheap housing

Further north is cheaper, further south is more expensive. London is one of the most expensive especially in terms of housing.

  5. Cornwall is nice AND cheap.....but you'll struggle to find work and it's miles from anywhere

  6. As a general rule: if it's nice, it isn't cheap, and if it's cheap, it isn't nice.

Unless you go somewhere very remote, like the Scottish highlands, which are nice but far from city life.

Yorkshire is a pleasant area with great countryside and not so expensive, also the people are down to earth and friendly though a bit rough around the edges.

  7. I would say Cumbria! Its sooo beautiful but a little far from everywhere! You yet the works though, seaside, lakes, mountain etc! There is a lot to do aswell! Totally recommend it. I'm a little biased as i live there but if you want any more information about it then be free to ask!! Good luck!

  8. Nottingham. I've never known anyone or heard of anyone that my friends or family know that's been stabbed or killed in my life.

  9. You should edit or re-post your question with info on where in the UK you expect to live. It's not all the same.

  10. where in the UK? What do you want to be doing (both big factors before throwing a dart at a US map)

  11. Try the east, East Anglia area and around there. Bedford is close to London but not a BIG city. The prices are going to be a big stumbling block though. You know a pack of cigarettes costs $11 and a gallon of gas is over $10 now.

Why are you coming? I'd stay there if I were you, really I would. America is much nicer and the people are nicer too.
