Relocating to the Adelaide Hills in August. Aussie readers, who else loves Adelaide, South Australia and why?

I live in the Adelaide Hills and I love it here.  In winter it is cold and dreary and often foggy and I regularly wonder why I live here, but it is all made up for the rest of the year. I can't see or hear my neighbours and I have koalas, echidnas and occasionally wallabies in my garden, and yet I live 20-30 minutes from the city. The weather in summer is absolutely gorgeous, and autumn is beautiful with all the coloured leaves. There are geat schools and the shops have a village atmosphere.

People often say Adelaide is boring and I agree it can be for the visitor, but it's a great place to live. It would be nice if it was a bit more multicultural though.
