Remains of the globe theatre in london - are there photographs? or plans?

i heard that remains of the Globe were found by workman in 1989. are there photos? (or sketches?) can they be visited? and was the form of the theatre (aparrently the remains gave clues as to the shape) used in the rebuild? Thanks!!!

The new Globe is not on the site of the old Globe. Design is based on contemporary accounts and drawings of a typical Medieval theatre.
