my divorce is final on the 26th of august but there is suppose to be a 180 day waiting period to get remarried, can I beg the courts to waive this so I am able to be remarried before the 6 months is up. I also will get married in south carolina if that makes any difference.

  1. Nebraska has no jurisdiction over a marriage in South Carolina, so Nebraska law has no bearing on the matter. South Carolina has no waiting period law and you can marry there as soon as the judge has signed the divorce decree.

  2. wuts ur rush lil' lady how bout you and i get together and talk about stuff over cofee

  3. Why in such a rush to get remarried?  If you take your time, you'll be less likely to have a second divorce.
