I will never forgot the day 1 year ago of the I-35W bridge collapse In minneapolis I live in MN but not in the cities and I think it was just tragic I found out about when my dad was watching KARE In minneapolis and they said they just recived that the I-35W bridge collapse I watched Local news FOX (KMSP FOX9) I watched the news for 3 straight days And it surprised me that People around the world went to FOX9's Website and were praying for minneasotings I heard that they had to shut donw there chat room down because of so many people on it!

how did you hear if you did on the news what channel your local news like my local news that i watch KMSP minneaoplis/St. Paul or like CNN, FOX News??

I lived in Minneapolis for a year and my dad drove over that bridge daily!

We were in Minneapolis the day before it collapsed and drove over it on the way home! Crazy huh?

What's really scary is following this collapse, America thoroughly inspected its' bridges. There are some 120,000 that need serious repair. But no money.  Only about 250 have actually been repaired. I just saw this on the news yesterday. The bottom line is, additional collapses are on the horizon.

I live in MN but i was on vacation in canada at Niagara falls, I heard from my uncle but I saw it on the News there, then the next morning i saw it on CNN type channels

I used to live in Blaine, MN and went across that bridge twice daily.  I had just one month before the collapse though bought a home in Buffalo, MN.   I found out about the collapse about an hour after the fact as I was driving home.  My GF had been frantically trying to get ahold of me for that hour on my cell to see if I had been on the bridge/made it out of the city safely.
