  1. Bernard King is one of the greatest players whom you haven't heard about these days. He was a great player and would've been better if his career wasn't derailed by injuries. He was doing good in New York until he blew out his knee. If he and Patrick Ewing would've played together, Patrick would definitely have a ring right now! I knew when he was playing for the Washington Bullets (now the Wizards) that his time as a star was up because he was a great player on a really bad team. After that, he was never the same again. I still think back to the 1984 playoffs when they played my hometown Detroit Pistons in Game 5 and it took them an overtime period to put us away. That one game reminded of how great he was then and how much he still would've accomplished if injuries hadn't stopped him.

  2. He was a Great Player on The Knicks. If Only He and Patrick Ewing Played Together that would be a Great combination.

  3. Yes, Bernard was a great player, whose career was derailed by injuries. Maybe it's a good thing we don't hear about him. At least he's not in any trouble or sick. He could score anytime he wanted.

  4. Bernard King was ill (using early 90's terminology).

Kid could ball, but he was outshone by his more athletic peers. But definitely a star.

  5. BB King was better, he could play the h**l out if the pentatonic scale. Minor or Major it didnt matter. He also ripped the Mixolydian scale!  He rulled!

  6. YEA!

no one hit the base line fade away like bernard king!
