I still wonder what impact he would have made in the NBA. I think he would have been a great one! One night. One moment. That's all it takes. When will our children learn? When will their parents, friends, teachers, coaches and yes the children themselves take responsibility for their actions? In a small way I believe we as a society are all responsible for raising the younger generation to do the right things and stay away from the darker side of life. We do this by leading a positive and respectful life that our kids will want to emulate. It starts at home. Talk to me.

  1. he reminds me of josh smith but with a much better jumpshot...that wa one of the saddest days in the nba he had the skills to be a legend people might have been praising him instead of michael but drugs took a life and kept a promising player out of the league it was just tragic

  2. i believe he woulda been atleast one of the top 10 players ever

  3. There's no telling how great Len Bias could have been. Unfortunately we never got the chance to see Len in the NBA because of what befell him.I love Michael Wilbon as a writer and a co-host and he has managed to capture my attention again.  Too many people allow addictive behavior to cost them their hopes and dreams.

  4. I never saw him play i wasn't even born yet but man did I hear stories. My dad told me all the time about how he was going to be the best ever. He said the way MJ changed the 2-guard he was going to change the small forward. I remember this one story of when my dad came home from one of his games and sat and watched him play on T.V. He said he came from a party but didnt have any drinks but after watching him he thought he was drunk. He said he jumped so high for an alley oop pass that his head was at the sqaure on the backboard, and that he dunked it on the way down. And in that same game he jumped so high to block a shot that his head again was at the top of the square on the backboard. But if you don't believe me look it up on youtube. I might not have seen him play but I sure wish I could have.
