  1. he was overrated

  2. i am a boxer and growing up he was one of my favourite fighters but he got smoked by barrera and have nt heard from him since

  3. You can see it in my blog

  4. God d**n, he was good,

    Great fighter

    Even Better Showman

    8/10 Fighter

    10/10 Showman

  5. His confidence was shattered after his first loss and he retired very young. I think he was 28. Then he got into a serious car accident in which he went 90mph and hit two cars. He totaled his mercedes mclaren and gravely injured the other people. One was deemed never able to work again and the other was seriously injured but not permanetely disabled like the other guy. He then was sentenced to fifteen months in jail but was released after only 16 weeks. He then gained fifty pounds ruining any chances of a comeback. He was a great fighter in his prime and easily one of the best, but his arrogance cost him. He had so much faith in his punching power he didn't throw much combinations looking for that one big punch. He also had bad footwork relying instead on his ability to avoid a punch rather than take one. Although he was flawed he was still an amazing boxer and I'd give him an 8 out of 10. After his jail sentence he faded from view and hasn't been heard of much in the last five years.

  6. Prince Naseem Hamed was a good fighter but not a great one. He was one of the hardest Featherweight punchers to come along since Sandy Saddler. But seemed to get boxers past their prime Tom Johnston, Wilfredo Vazquez and Kevin Kelly and avoided Juan Manuel Marquez for years so i give him 7/10.

  7. Without vying for points here and gaining a friend,I have to say I thought he was a terrible fighter who did have a good punch,no boxer should have allowed this Muppet to get away with the style of fighting he had and the first real test of class against Kevin Kelly in NYC he went on his bum!some time later Berrera gave him a boxing lesson and the rest is history.I know some people who have had dealings with him in Sheffield England and he's every bit as obnoxious outside the ring as he was disrespectful to his'opponents'inside the ring,so much so he was jailed for almost killing a guy in a car incident and jailed for 18mth.His Muslim taunts before the Berrera fight ensure in this day and age he gets no media coverage at all.His circus act before the fights were unusual for a 'Brit' boxer, and s was his style,I'm sorry but he's no more than 4 on the boxing scale, lets see the thumbs down LOLIm truly pleased this horrible little man is out of boxing and the limelight for good!!!

  8. Naseem Hamed was definitely entertaining.... I'll give him that. His career and overall skill was overrated in my opinion. Hamed's defense and footwork was not good at all. Ever since his first fight in the U.S. against Kevin Kelley, I told many that Hamed had huge flaws and he would be exposed the moment he stepped in the ring against a prime, high caliber fighter. Marco Antonio Barerra proved me right.

As mentioned Hamed had flaws, but I'll give him credit for beating those that he should have beaten. I wish I could have seen him against more top level fighters. With that said, on a ten scale, I'll give him a 7 at best.
