Remember making homemade popsicles as a kid? What flavor was?

chosen the most? Did you make the kind in an ice tray with popsicle sticks or? Recipe? We had grape and cherry popsicles made with koolaid and soda for a more zingy (is that a word? ;) taste.

We made them with that tupperware popsicle thing.. sometimes koolaid, sometimes soda, even iced tea...

Welch's grape juice.  We put them in ice cube trays with toothpicks for handles.  Sometimes, we would just pour the juice in a plastic baggie so it would freeze in weird shapes -- more fun to eat, but very messy.

Mom made them in the metal ice cube trays. We didn't use popsicle sticks. She just poured the flavored ice cubes in a cup and we ate them that way. She used Kool-Aid. I liked grape, but raspberry was my favorite flavor. Raspberry is no longer available, unfortunately due to unpopularity, I was told by the company. :(

Sure do.  We made orange and grape popsicles out of kool-aid too.  We would save our popsicle sticks and place them in the ice cubes.  Such fun.

Grape and Orange were also my fav's too.  Mom even had one of those popsicle forms.... the OLD kind that were METAL with the little ROUND sticks.  It wasn't easy to get those things out of the forms, but my mom didn't care, she knew everyone would love them.

My dad always said that he was never sure how many kids he had... 3 or 4 (including my mom!).

Those were so delicious and nice and cold during the hot months. We made Coca Cola ones.

Oh, yes.  My favorite was grape.

We had those plastic molds with the round plastic handles. Root-beer was my favorite. Should have been a hint at my preferred adult beverage in later years.

We used Kool Aid and one of those popsicle makers from the store.  My favorite flavor then was cherry, which is my least favorite now.

the other day I had made a Red Bull one ...
