They silenced him, Phil Gramm, immediately, and banished him from their PUBLIC ranks. But that mindset still survives within the Republican party. For one reason, as a rebuff to people who point out Bush's mishandling of the economy. For another, because they are disastrously out of touch with working people. (---So is it 7 homes, McCain, or 8?)

Obama's stated plan will actually make the average middle class person pay 5% less tax. McCain has no plan, because "there's no problem with the economy."

So how can any informed person claim that John "Nothing wrong with the economy" McCain will be better for this troubled economic time for the middle class?

  1. The world of politics is a strange world indeed. Remember the book 1984 by George Orwell and his slogans, thus this is what's going on with both parties. They are spewing rhetoric with little substance. The political world has its own language.

  2. If Obama has his way, middle class will pay 0% income tax because there will be no companies to work for after they all move overseas due to the absurdly high cost of doing business within the U.S.

We are in a world economy now and must compete on a world level.  Obama doesn't understand that. Having the second highest corporate income tax in the world and wanting to increase it from there is not going to help the US compete in the world market.

  3. you have to understand economics is beyond Mccains understanding  Maybe it is something to do with his time in Vietnam or maybe it has to do with his guilt for dumping his first wife after having an affair.  We have to be understanding of this man
