Remember the Y2K scare?

I was 14 years old. It was first semester of grade 9. Everyone was saying things like, all the computers will just shut down and not work period and all kinds of cr@p like that. To be honest I wasn't scared and no one I knew was scared. We were actually looking forward to what was going to happen because nothing exciting was happening anyways.

I miss those years.

Can you explain to me what Y2K was. I thought it was a computer scare. When did it happen? If it was in 2000 I was 8!

I wasn't scared I didn't really think anything would happen.  I was a senior in high school and I don't actually have a clue how I rang in the new year.

It was an eery time.  Everything controlled by computers might have stopped working .... all at the same time. /
