Remember this!?

An old lady I know had her bag stolen with her Mobile phone, and her credit cards in it etc. The thief Checked the addresses and numbers on her phone, then sent her husband a txt message saying that she has to get money from the Atm but can't remember her PIN number. Of course, the husband thinking it was his wife txt the number back to the thief and he almost cleared the ladies account before a stop was put on it. The lesson is don't put names on your numbers like "Hubby" or similar in case your phone is nicked. Just put Initials instead.

  1. A better solution would be if you get a text like this then call the number back. If the phone isn't answered or the thief answers it a block can be issued much quicker and you would also know that your better half was in trouble and needed help.

If the wife did answer and there was no problem you could just tell them it. Not rocket science is it?

  2. I totally agree with Anchor Cranker, but I would add even when someone is in a situation like that, they could be holding that person hostage, do you give out this information anyway?  I don't know.
