Remember when McDonald's use to sell BL T's and it was in a box and it had to separate compartments

one side was for the cool stuff and the other side was for the hot stuff. What ever happened to it? Sorry just board at work with nothing to do...

Yeah i remember. It was kind of silly because, what does it matter if the hot and cold parts stay separate, unless you don't plan to eat it for awhile? I remember they had to get rid of it when environmentalist started complaining about fast food packaging (the box was huge).

i dont remember that.... but i worked for mcdonalds when the mc rib came threw 3 times.... and it took the thrid time for me to try it. and it was really good....... just thought i d add that thought...lol

I remember that thing and wondered why they got rid of it!  Maybe it was too stressful to have to separate the cold and the hot foods.  Maybe it slowed their line down.

What I miss is the McRib!  If that doesn't make you hungry as you sit at your desk today, I don't know what will!  I wish they'd put that on the regular menu again!

I'm too young to remember. The reason that they did take it out however was probably because of the styrofoam container which was not recyclable. But the Big and Tasty is like a rendition.

It was a McD LT (with the bacon, cheese, and burger on the hot side and the lettuce and tomato on the cold side).

That silly commercial of, "it keeps the hot side hot and the cold side cold" just popped into my head.

Truth be told it was an awful burger. The "hot side" of it always got soggy because the compartments were too flat.

me to but i dont remember the MCD's BLT I have never been a McDonalds enthuisist.  I like to go get a burger maybe 4 times a year. That is untill I had the Sirloin Burger at Jack in the box I have had 2 in the last 2 weeks.  It is really good  you have to pick a cheese type and an oinion type me hold the onion. but it is not on a regular hb bun, it is on like homemade bread and the meat is actually kind of thick and seasoned with some flavor.
