3 seperate channels to 24 hour coverage there was the Gold, Silver and Bronze channels. Why can't NBC do the same thing? So everyone can watch what they want! I know everyone doesn't have cable but still at least for the people who have cable or satalite tv we should be able to watch what the olympics. Not just what NBC is covering. I know about MSNBC and Oxygen and one other cable channel showing the games. But I am still hearing about other people complaining that they want to watch table tennis and some other less popular sports. I say let us watch it all!

  1. Yes, I do remember the whole gold-silver-bronze thing.  As I recall, we got to see almost nothing of whichever Olympics that was because the TV folks locally opted out of that where I was living.

It's just not practical to show everything, really.  There's a point at which the cost isn't worth the benefit.  I do really like the idea of online streaming video as a solution to the problem, though, and I'll bet that's something we see more and more of.

  2. do you have cable?  USAHD, UHD, Telemundo, NBC are all broadcasting the olympics.

  3. I get about 3 other stations besides NBC for the olympics and i was watching table tennis earlier on the one. you just have to look up times and i'm sure you'll find the right station.
