While talking to reporters, the 46-year-old praised the injured star citing him one of the most important players for Les Gones. Garde added that the former Bordeaux player was in good form and it’s sad to see him getting inured so early in the season.
“He's been a very important player for us since the beginning of the season. He has made a good start to the season having scored a goal and made an assist.”
The Lyon coach stated that he has few players at his disposal who can replace Gourcuff in the team and he will decide whether to change the team’s formation or go with the same one in up-coming matches.
“However, we will cope with his absence, regardless of whether we choose to stay with the same formation or change it."

"It will be difficult because it is a derby. It is a team which has already lost twice and needs both points and confidence.”
Although Les Croix de Savoie have lost their opening two games of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign, Pablo Correa’s side would be hoping to avoid the same fate in their next match.
