For several weeks, the young midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Stade Gerland. Since joining the seven-time Ligue 1 champions, Pjanic has been a great performer for Les Gones. However, the Tuzla-born midfielder lost his place in the starting
XI following the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international Yoann Gourcuff last summer.
Former Lyon coach Claude Puel preferred using Gourcuff instead of the Bosnian in the 2010/2011 season despite Gourcuff’s failure to impress in his maiden season.
However, it is believed that following the recent appointment of Remi Garde as the coach of Lyon this summer, Pjanic would be given a chance to impress the 45-year-old Frenchman. Furthermore, Remi Garde is reluctant to let go of the talented youngster.
While talking to Rhone daily, Le Progres, Garde said, “Mira will not go away, I don’t think so. I rely on him a lot. I’m not sure if we have received any genuine proposals for him.”

Influential playmaker, Mauro Zarate has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico and Aquile are trying to find a suitable replacement if the 24-year-old Argentine leaves the Italian side who finished fifth in the 2010/2011 Italian Serie A season.
However, signing Pjanic might prove to be a tough task for the capital club. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yoann-Gourcuff-c37416 is expected to miss at least the first month of the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign following an ankle injury which means that Garde would be totally relying on the talent
of Pjanic which means that the former Lyon player would somehow convince Pjanic to stay at the club.
Remi Garde’s insistence on keeping Pjanic at Stade Gerland is definitely not an uncalled for act as the Frenchman knows too well to let go of a player who has been considered as one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe.
