The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 coach has to deal with a mountain of injuries ahead of the side’s Ligue 1 clash against Paris Saint-Germain but has refused to rule out his side’s chances of winning on Sunday
In what is perhaps the biggest game of the season, Olympique Lyonnais will travel to Paris to face cash-laden Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain in Week 18 of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 Championnat. The game promises to be an exciting encounter between two sides
that are battling for top spot in the Championnat.
After being held to a 1-1 draw at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AS-Nancy-c38468 Lorraine on Wednesday, Remi Garde’s men know that they have to return to winning ways regardless of the side they are facing. However, the club will have to deal with a cascade of injuries ahead of the game against
Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
While talking in a press conference, coach Remi Garde gave an update on players who will not feature in the big game on Sunday. Clement Grenier, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Lacazette-c4895 have been ruled out of the vital Ligue 1 encounter while
right-back, Anthony Reveillere’s presence will be confirmed tomorrow. Mahamadou Dabo saw red during the Nancy game which means that the former Seville man is also not going to play any part in the game and in the next one too.
“Grenier, Gourcuff, Briand are still missing. Alexander Lacazette has a hamstring problem and will not play at the Parc. We’ll know about Anthony Reveillere after training. There is no rational explanation and whoever says otherwise, has never gotten his
hands dirty. As for Dabo, he is suspended.”
However, despite missing so many key players, Garde will still be hoping to stop a PSG side that has been on a roll in its last three games in all competitions. The French tactician says that PSG clearly are building great momentum and for the first time
this season, they are using their full potential.
Wary of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s presence, Garde says that the Swede always stands out in games and carries the burden of the team on his own. However, the young coach says that PSG have lost a game with him in the team so there  is a chance that Lyon turn the
tide in their favour.
