The Olympique Lyonnais coach is hoping for a better performance from the Rhone giants against SC Bastia after they were crashed out of Coupe de la Ligue on Wednesday
The Rhone giants were sent packing from Coupe de la Ligue in the midweek and coach, Remi Garde, would want to avoid same kind of performance from his side when they face newly promoted, SC Bastia, at Stade de Gerland this Sunday.
Apart from their Coupe de la Ligue defeat, Lyon have been pretty consistent in the league this season and are 4th in the Ligue 1 at the moment with 18 points on the table after 9 games. Les Gones’ last game against Olympique de Marseille was postponed
due to bad weather, and Remi Garde feels that it has left his side in dire need of a win at the weekend to stay in the top four.
"We want to be back on track in the league," the coach said.
While talking to reporters, the 46-year-old stated that the cancelation of the game against Marseille has left them quite behind the other teams, and winning against Bastia is more important than ever.

The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international added that OL have been performing well this season and the need it to continue playing like that in the future. Referring to the match against Nice, the coach said that it was a bad performance from his side and Lyon need
to avoid playing like that if they want to achieve their targets this season.
“But we are still expecting points. We can't read properly the standings on the table. We want to do what we didn't do against Marseille. I think we need to redeem as well after our performance at Nice.

"We never can take confidence from a defeat. We need to show our response on Sunday."
