The Rhone giants are unbeaten in the league after four games, and Remi Garde has expressed his delight over that.
Lyon’s real strength will be tested in the coming weeks, with the French club set to face the likes of LOSC Lille Métropole, Girondins de Bordeaux and dangerous looking http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lorient-c39153, after the international break.
However, Lyon coach, Remi Garde, is not much worried about that.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 player is in bullish mood ahead of those matches and believes that his side has what it takes to emerge unscratched from such tricky games.
While talking to reporters, the Lyon coach stated that his side will come up against some quality teams in the coming weeks, but is confident that his players are ready for that test.
"The fixture list is getting tougher, and the games are coming at us quickly, but we're ready for that,"
Remi Garde admitted that the matches against Lille, Bordeaux and Lorient will be pretty tough. However, Lyon are playing really well at the moment, and the coach feels that they are in good shape to face quality teams like that.
"They're going to be difficult matches, but we've worked well, and I'm happy with what I've seen since the start of the season.”
The former Lyon defender stated that he has a young squad and he is impressed by what Lyon have achieved so far in this season.
Garde added that there are some really good players in his squad who can become top-class footballers in the coming years.
“I'm pleased with the team spirit. They're a young squad with potential. My aim is to improve them, especially the youngsters, and from what I've seen in the last eight weeks, there are encouraging signs."
Olympique Lyonnais will entertain AC Ajaccio at Stade de Gerland, in their next Ligue 1 match.
