Remi Garde unhappy with referee Nicola Rizzoli in defeat against Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid

Real Madrid won 2-0 at Stade de Gerland against Olympique Lyon. However, Lyon’s trainer Remi Garde was unhappy with the match official and let his opinions known.
Garde was critical of referee Nicola Rizzoli’s performance during the match, and voiced his frustration against the penalty decision.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 scored both goals and his second of the night came from the penalty spot. The Portuguese ace was adjudged to have been felled by Mahamadou Dabo inside the box and the referee awarded a penalty kick as a result.
The French tactician questioned the decision and stated that it killed the match for them.
"The penalty was a harsh and unfair decision," he is quoted as saying by EFE. "Madrid did not need that. It is clear that this penalty drained us of the motivation we had to draw the match. We deserved more."
Jose Mourinho agreed with Remi that the second goal meant the match was over.
"With the second goal, the match was practically over. We were always calm and we had tactical control of the match all the time.
"We had a very serious match, in the first half we could have put the match to bed with better decisions in the last 20 metres," he told reporters at a post-match news conference.
Real Madrid are top of Group D, having collected 12 points from a possible 12 after four rounds. They are yet to concede a goal in the competition and have managed to score 10 in the process.
Los Blancos need one point from their final two fixtures to proceed into the next round as group winners.
Lyon’s fortunes have drastically changed after the match. They are third in the table, three points shy of second placed Ajax.
Anyhow, Garde’s team still have a decent chance of progressing to the next round after playing their two matches against runaway leaders Real Madrid.
Lyon will have to win their next two matches against Ajax Amsterdam and Dinamo Zagreb if they want to feature in UEFA Champions League Round of 32.
"My team can do it [win the last two games], although it will be complicated," he explained. "I hope my players will recover from this defeat quickly."
