  1. A tablespoon of flour and water.

  2. Try some Imodium A-D.  It's OTC (over the counter) and works just fine

  3. You can try some home-remedies from here:

  4. An effective remedy for diarrhoea is the use of buttermilk

  5. apples...very good...grate them and let the flesh go a little brown first

  6. Nothing but water for the first 12 hours.

Immodium is perfectly fine after that -- follow label directions.

Avoid apples, but applesauce, bananas, rice, and white toast are fine.

Tea is a good astringent and soothing.

Leave the soda and fruit juices alone, too much sugar, carbonation not good.

    Plenty of water.

If diarrhea becomes severe, see the doctor.

  7. Eat an apple every three hours until diarrhea has passed.  Apples contain cellulose which helps form a good stool.  Not apple sauce or juices, just an apple.

    Good luck!

  8. drink water for the next 12 hours. grate and apple and let the flesh go a little brown. then eat it. you'll see results.

  9. Immodium AD, or Pepto-Bismol are both good options for over the counter (OTC) remedies.

However, there are some sorts of diarrhea (caused by bacteria) that could require antibiotics.

In either case, just keep a good intake of fluids to keep yourself hydrated, since you'll be losing a lot of water from the other end.  If you use drinks like Gatorade or Powerade, make sure to dilute them with a little bit of water, as they could actually cause the diarrhea to get worse from all the sugar.

  10. I would not reccommend imodium. There are side effects, and it does not address the cause, it only supresses the bowel movement. Your Bowel is moving for a good reason, there is something irritaing it, usually pathogenic bacteria, certain reaction to drugs, vitamin C overdose, ect.

Take S. Boulardii, a good brand that i use is called Diasafe, it is the same price as imodium, even cheaper on ebay, but i suppose you need it asap.

If you can't get your hands on Diasafe, i would reccommend having a couple of handfuls of Blueberries, this puts diarrhoea out very quickly, and kills the pathogenic bacteria/virus that may be causing the problem.

Try either or both of these stated methods, and your diarrhoea will cease, as the 'cause' has been addressed and resolved, and not supressed {imodium}.
