Reminder for my computer desktop?

Is there a gadget that I can install that on my desktop so that it works as a reminder - it pops up when scheduled?...

Couldn't find any....

Help?....

If you have Microsoft outlook you can place things on the built in calender and it will remind you.

Use outLook calendar. Set appoinments.

If you email me with your real email address I'll email you the program I wrote to pop up every morning to remind me that it's time to go to work.  Weekdays only, weekends only, every day, one time only ...

Pretty annoying alarm too - like a European police car - bee-boop-bee-boop.
