Remote Control not working after Dish Network's remote was setup for my TV?

I have a Toshiba 42HP82 42" Plasma HDTV - the dish guys installed their box with this TV, and enabled their remote to work with my TV. This has completely killed my TV's remote control - it doesn't respond at all to my TV. How can I reset it?

There is no way the Dish guys did anything wrong to either your TV or the TV remote.

They simply programmed a code on the Dish remote to turn on/off your TV and adjust volume. This has no effect on the TV or the original remote.

Is your TV's a TV-only remote or a universal remote? If a TV-only remote, check the batteries.

If a universal remote, make sure you have selected 'TV" and not DVD or other option.
