Remote Turn On Wire?

Ok I cant find the remote turn on wire on my harness theres a blue power antenna wire but i dont have a power antenna so were do i put my turn on wire to need help quick as possible thnx

  1. you can also use your switched power wire at the back of the radio (not constant) and it will send the signal to the amp when the radio is on and when its off turn the amp off also- or you could tap into the back of the fuse box and find one that is only hot when the key is turned


  2. You can use the power ant. lead from the radio as long as your only driving one amp. Because you run the risk of over driving the circuit and frying the radio. If you need to turn on more than one amp, wire the power ant lead to turn on/off a "relay" and then the relay can drive multiple amps/EQ's

    Make certain that the power antenna lead stays on while the receiver is on. On some radios, power may be switched off from the lead when a CD or tape is played, so the power antenna will come down. If this is the case with your radio, it may have a separate lead coming out for the amp turn-on function. Test the lead with a VOM, or test light. When the radio is on, in any function, 12 volts should be present at the amp turn on lead until the radio power is turned off.


  3. It should be blue/white, we are talking about the amp am I right?
