Remote control of VX32L HDTV10A

Question

I believed that my son is playing the remote because when I'm trying to put the tv on by using the remote the tv it doesn't work but the remote light is blinking and after that i checked everything the battery is new,i put the battery in a right way.i was thinking that maybe there's something blocking that's why i can not use my remote.if you can solve my problem i would be happy and i appreciate it. thank you
