  1. Many VNC programs can be used and most of them are free.

Personally I use UltraVNC as it uses my video card to render the target computer's desktop smoothly and effectively.

I believe it's the only VNC software that uses the host's video card to render. So what does this mean for you? Well, the faster and smoother the render, the less "jitter" there is.

! Link to UltraVNC in Sources !

  2. logmein.com and teamviewer.com both work well for me

teamviewer doesn't need to be installed allowing u to use it easly from a usb flach drive, logmein would work on a usb drive if you transferd the logmein folder located in program files

  3. first of all the computers have to be connected to a network - i.e. they have to have some type of network adapter - either a ethernet network card , wireless or even a modem

windows xp has some type of remote access software built in

a free multi platform product is called vnc

    there is a free version

    http://realvnc.com/products/download.htm...

you install the server on the victim's computer

the viewer is installed on the remote computer

    ( its 200 k or 1/5 of a floppy - small)

you type in the ip of the victim;s computer in the server box

You need to know the ip of the victim's computer

you can install a tracking service -

    http://www.no-ip.com/

a program is installed on computer number two

    it beams a signal home

this way instead of the ip ( which you may not know now)

    you can type a phrase

    say  gotomycomputer.no-ip.info

makes it easier and convenient , plus ip may change over time

vnc has full remote access - visual no sound

the product in microsoft xp apparently has sound

if you have router if will block you getting in

plus open the windows firewall to vnc  otherwise you will be blocked

to get though the router easily you can set up a hamachi virtual private network

    easy - zero configuration

    https://secure.logmein.com/products/hama...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamachi

    have fun

  4. there are a lot of stuff out there.  first off, windows has some built in features.  Remote Desktop Connection allows you to connect to any computer on your network.  They must have XP Pro or above and in Vista I believe its Home Premium and up.  Also MSN (Windows Live Messenger) has Remote Assistance.  You have to install it if you do not have it and the person you want to connect to has to have it installed as well.  There is also a free program on the net called Log Me In.  they have a free version so go check it out. this, also has to be installed on the computer you wish to view.  Anyy questions, let me know.

Edit: Remote Desktop Connection -> XP home/Vista Home Basic will let you connect with a XP Pro + up or Vista Home Premium + up but you cannot connect to a XP Home or Vista Home Basic

  5. remote desktop comes with every single computer. look for it. its in your computer type it in search.
