Removable braces,?

when you get the removable braces fitted

does the dentist still have to clamp your mouth

open like they do with the train track braces ?

  1. Nope! When I got mine they just took it out of a box , the orthodontist put it in and took it out a few times. Checked it fitted okay and then when somebody else went in I went into a room with the nurse and she showed me how to take it in + out

  3. there is no such thing as removable braces. when you say braces, it is always fixed or cemented to your teeth. you probably mean the retainers? well retainers are used every after the braces when teeth are already corrected. when retainers are fitted to your mouth, dentist don't clamp your mouth open.
