Removable disk stoarge problems ....HELP!!!!?

Question

the removable disks sections h-j dont work on my computer,

i think my daughterclicked the "safely remove hardware" button

and removed the worn ones.

any way i can get them back on?

under xp you can also right click on my computer(under the start menu)and click computer management,then disc management,than top left under actions click rescan drives.for vista right click computer then click manage,than disc management then actions then rescan drives.

you could also go to control panel and then device management right click on the harddrive in question and hit uninstall driver.then restart your computer and it will reset it up for you.

unplug them and then plug them back in usually works for me

Plug them back into their USB ports and they will re-appear on your computer.

Have you tried going to my computer and manually opening your removable disks by clicking on them?
