Removable hard disk?

Question

I had a removable USB 2 GB disk. I deleted all my files off of it and gave it to a friend. Is there any way she can bring up my deleted files on that memory stick now???

yes, there is a way to recover those files; BUT, your friend would have to be pretty knowledgeable of computer technology. there are programs available that could recover your deleted files, but the person would have to know of the programs, and how to use them to recover those files. In the future, before giving up a disc drive, you may want to run a free program such as Spybot, it has a file shredder function which lets you delete files and makes them unrecoverable.

It's nearly impossible to retrieve deleted files from USB Flash disk. Only if she has the equipment used by the US Gov't to retrieve informations. But i doubt it , it's too expensive !
